Sex-specific epigenic-marks (epi-marks) originate from embryonic stem cells and they vary in strength.
Epi-marks are temporary switches that regulate gene expression.
They are produced early in fetal development (pictured is an 8-week old fetus) to protect the fetus from large natural variations in testosterone exposure in the womb.
However, when they carry over to opposite-sex offspring (father to a daughter or mother to a son), it can cause the masculinization of females or the feminization of males (Rice et al, 2012, 2013)
Pictured is a depiction of a fetus during the 2nd trimester.
During the intrauterine period in the second half of pregnancy, there may or may not be maternal surges of steroids, particularly testosterone and its metabolites, on the fetal brain.
If there are steroid surges, the brain develops masculine; if there are not steroid surges, the brain develops feminine.
If it is a male fetus, there are usually surges. If there are not, then the male may later present with feminine and/or homosexual characteristics.
If it is a female fetus, there are usually not surges. If there are, then the female may later present with masculine and/or lesbian characteristics.
The steroid surges, or lack thereof (and perhaps the epi-marks), can also impact the sex-typical behaviors including playmates, toy preferences and athletics Pictured is a depiction of a fetus during the 2nd trimester (Hines, 2012).
This is why some men who are homosexual were perceived to be "girly boys" when they were young. (Note: Not all girly boys are gay when they grow up!)
And, why some women who are lesbian were perceived to be "tomboys" when they were young. (Note: Not all tomboys are lesbians when they grow up!)
Flags are created to serve as a symbol to boldly and proudly publicize an ideology to society.
In early 1978, Harvey Milk, the first openly gay San Francisco, California City Supervisor, paid Gilbert Baker (also a gay man) to design a flag to represent the LGB community.
The new PRIDE flag (pictured) was championed at the Gay Freedom Day Parade in June 1978.
The demand for the PRIDE flag increased following the assassination of Harvey Milk on November 27, 1978.
As the PRIDE flag was seen in the community and on the news, the acronym LGB was increasingly used and understood.
For instance, the acronym LGB (lesbian, gay, bisexual) was first used in published research in 1996. (Prior to that, LGB had exclusively served as the acronym for lower gastrointestinal tract bleeding and lateral geniculate body.)
Not surprisingly, the LGB acronym (used to denote lesbian, gay, bisexual) was first used to describe college students.
How and why transgender hijacked LGB and created LGBT
In the mid to late 1990s, male transsexuals created the acronym LGBT as a vehicle to promote the word "transgender." (Transsexuals, namely Frye and Rothblatt, had created the word "transgender" in 1992 because they knew it would be more palatable to society than the word transsexual.)
In other words, soon after the acronym LGB was created and began to be popularized in mainstream society, T set out to usurp it.
While LGB did give T some pushback, it was immediately attacked by male transsexuals. For instance, Salon published the article "How did the T get in LGBT?" by gay activist John Aravosis on 10/08/2007, Salon) and three days later published transsexual Susan Stryker's response article "T is here to stay" (10/11/2007).
In 2000, the LGBT acronym first appeared in published research.
The article focused on substance abuse and clumped those persons who were not-heterosexual with those who had the mental illness transsexualism. Entirely illogical.
Perhaps it was done to lay the groundwork for much of the mental health profession to embrace transgender in just a few short years and reap profits from "gender affirming care."
In 2001, a federal agency, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), jumped on board.
Perhaps SAMHSA chose to include those with the mental illness transsexualism along with those who were LGB because it would suggest they were in need of more funding to address the problem of drug abuse.
Since 2000, research has increasingly shifted focus from LGB to LGBT (or LGBT+).
To illustrate, during the year 2023, the acronym LGB was used in roughly 180 research articles while the acronym LGBT was used in over 475.
In 2024 (the current year), the difference is even wider.
Conflating sexual orientation and transgender negatively impacts the advancement of knowledge about LGB individuals and the issues they face.
How and why transgender hijacked the colors of babies
In 1999, Mr. Monica Helms (another man who has transsexualism) created a flag to serve as a symbol to publicize and market the transgender ideology.
Helms hijacked the colors powder blue and pink and emphasized them in the transgender flag.
Helms specifically chose the innocent colors of powder blue and pink because they represent boy babies and girl babies, respectively (reference).
The goal of the powder blue, pink and white transgender flag is to manipulate society into thinking people who self-identify as transgender are innocent and vulnerable and deserving of empathy and protection.
The "transgender" colors of powder blue and pink and white were also forcibly added to the PRIDE (LGB) flag to further market transgender ideology.
To gain support via "political correctness," the colors brown and black were quickly added to represent people of color.
How and why transgender hijacked intersex and revived "queer
Intersex is a dangerous misnomer because it suggests a person can be "somewhere in between" a male person and a female person. This is false.
While there are extremely rare sex anomaly disorders, the affected individuals are either male or female.
For instance, if a male has XXY sex chromosomes (instead of the typical XY sex chromosomes) he is diagnosed with Klinefelter's syndrome (ICD-10-code Q98.4) and presents with some feminine characteristics (e.g., small breasts) and diminished male characteristics (e.g., a micro penis and less body hair). (See photo)
The Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) was created in 1993 to represent people with sex anomaly disorders, whom they referred to as intersex people.
Through its closure in 2008, the ISNA was in no way related to transgender ideology.
Since they closed, however, the ISAN website has been hijacked by transgender-activists and all visitors to it are directed to the InterAct website.
The InterACT organization was founded in 2006 and was formally incorporated in 2010.
The interAct is led by trans-activists and strongly promotes transgender ideology. It touts itself to be the new and improved ISNA and falsely claims it represents "intersex" people.
In 2013, Morgan Carpenter, the co-chair of Intersex Human Rights Australia, created the intersex flag (pictured).
Initially, the word queer' was defined as strange' or 'peculiar'.
By the late 19th centruy, the word queer somehow evolved into being a pejorative against people whose sexual orientation was LGB and/or people who did not accept their birth sex.
By the early 2010s, transgender claimed the word queer and added the letter "Q" to the LGBT acronym.
The TQ symbol (pictured) was also created.
In 2021, Valentino Vecchietti further bastardized the rainbow flag by adding the intersex flag.
The goal was to give transgender ideology more credibility because the people whom transgender-activists refer to as intersex have a legitimate sex anomaly disorder.
Contemporaneously, an "I" (for intersex) and an "A" (for asexual) were added to the already bastardized LGB acronym.
About the same time, transgender-activists began to insist the "Q" represents both queer and questioning individuals - to attract even more confused young people.
The "+" sign is sometimes used to denote Q, I, A, etc.
Will the "+" symbol satisfy the transgender-activists? Doubtful. The alphabet will likely continue to expand.
LGB endeavours to break-away from transgender
Realizing the LGB community can not rid itself of transgender, several LGB leaders (Bev Jackson, Kate Harris, Allison Bailey, Malcolm Clark and Ann Sinnott) founded the LGB Alliance in 2019.
Currently, there is an LGB Alliance in the USA, the UK, Australia, and Canada. The UK is also home to The Lesbian Project.
The formation of new LGB organizations were necessary because the original LGB organizations were invaded by "T," who redirected their focus LGB to LGBT - with a great emphasis on "T." The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) is a prime example. (Reference)
Because mainstream society believes the PRIDE flag represents "LGBT" (instead of LGB), a bold new LGB flag was created by Sharon Fair in 2023.
Fair, whose daughter is a lesbian, created the flag to help educate people that LGB is not affiliated with transgender.
Sharon shared her flag with LGB Alliance USA, LGB Alliance UK, LGB Alliance Canada and LGB Alliance Australia in the event they wanted to adopt it in whole or part.
In 2024, the LGB Alliance USA adopted a flag that is clearly based on Harvey Milk's PRIDE flag and Sharon Fair's LGB flag.
Purportedly, the LGB Alliance iAustralia is considering adopting a flag that integrates the LGB acronym.
What you can do to help LGB separate itself from transgender
Please do not use the acronyms LGBT, LGBTQ+, etc. - they are rubbish!
LGB (which relates to sexual orientation) has nothing to do with "T" ("transgender''/transsexualism) or "Q" (queer). whose definition was changed to refer to people who believe they are not their birth sex and/or are not heterosexual by influential men with the mental illness transsexualism).
When discussing people who who identify as "transgender" refer to them as people with the mental illness transsexualism.
Of course, use of the acronym LGB is encouraged.
When you notice an LGB flag, bear in mind it represents the LGB community and has nothing to do with transgender.
Conversely, when you notice a flag that has the baby colors of powder blue and pink, bear in mind it represents the transgender community and has nothing to do do with the LGB community.
Remember, sexual orientation and the mental illness transsexualism are not linked. Transgender-activists have simply been successful in brainwashing many people that they are.
