Dr. Fair authored Wellness and Physical Therapy (2010) and served as the editor and primary author for both the 2020 and 2022 versions of Wellness and Holistic Physical Therapy, 2nd Ed.
Sharon Fair earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of South Florida (1981), Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the City University of New York (1986), Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore (1993), PsyD from California Southern University (2000), and PhD in Education from Capella University (2005). As a PT, Dr. Fair has primarily worked in home health care. She also served as an associate professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences from 2000 - 2008. She has presented at numerous state, national, and international conferences and has investigated the self-wellness of PTs and student PTs.
Dr. Blanton authored the section "African Americans and Wellness" of Wellness and Holistic Physical Therapy
LaTasha Blanton, a Doctor of Physical Therapy since 2004, has owned and operated multiple private outpatient facilities for 10 years. In the recent past, she sold her practices and started a travel and tourism company, The Real South Africa, that allows her to live full time in South Africa. To keep up on her skills as a physical therapist, she owns and operates Jade Virtual Physical Therapy. Both in travel and virtual physical therapy, Dr. Blanton ensures her energy is at its highest positive vibration before engaging with a patient/client. She truly believes we receive the energy we give. Dr. Blanton has been married to Mark E. Blanton since 2007 and he is her business partner in all endeavors.
Dr. Booth authored the section "Pelvic Health and Wellness" of Wellness and Holistic Physical Therapy
Jackie Booth has been working as a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist for six years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stetson University in 2007 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Florida in 2014. Following graduation, Jackie underwent specialty training (including Pelvic Floor Level 1, 2A, 2B; Oncology and the Female Pelvic Floor; Oncology and the Male Pelvic Floor, Sacroiliac Joint Evaluation and Treatment, Mobilization of Visceral Fascia: The Urinary System; Coccyx Pain: Evaluation and Treatment; The Balloon Catheter – Application and Clinical Reasoning) and continues to attend courses through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Booth and her husband reside in Gainesville, Florida.

Embury attended the Program for Academic and Creative Endeavors (PACE) and is a graduate of Pedro Menendez High School, both of which are located in St Augustine, Florida. Embury is an animal lover and a vegan.

The first edition of Wellness and Physical Therapy was published by Jones & Bartlett in 2010. It was subsequently adopted by nearly 50 of the DPT programs in the USA and MPT/DPT programs in Canada.
The Introduction to the textbook was provided by Peter Huijbregts, PT, MSc, MHSc, DPT, OCS, FAAOMP.
