Geriatric Home Safety

A physical therapist (PT) performs a safety evaluation of the elderly Putnam County resident in his/her home.
Following the assessment, the PT educates the patient and his/her caregiver(s) in fall prevention and home safety.
Cost: $0 to $100 per hour (sliding scale) plus mileage

Weight Management

A physical therapist (PT) screens the client's fitness status, including exercise and nutritional habits.
Following the assessment, the PT educates the client in nutrition, exercise, and weight (body composition) management.
Cost: $100 per hour

Body Composition

A physical therapist (PT) examines the body composition (fat vs lean body mass) of the client.
Following the assessment, the PT educates the client in weight (body composition) management.
