You are employed as a PT in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). You are referred to examine Miss Evie, who has just returned from the hospital secondary to an accidental fall. Elyn Saks, PhD

Dr. Saks is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Oxford University, and Yale Law School and is an associate dean and Professor of Law, Psychology, and Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California Gould Law School. Dr. Saks is a winner of the MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, receiving a $500,000 ‘genius grant,’ which she used to establish The Saks Institute for Mental Health Law. She has received many other prestigious awards and is also a published author. Dr Saks has schizophrenia (Saks, n.d.; NPR, 2011)
